The condenser is the radiator of the refrigeration system, cooling the compressor's hot high-pressure gas back into liquid. Kilterra offers air-cooled finned heat exchangers, high-efficiency tank (coaxial) heat exchangers, shell-and-tube heat exchangers and water-cooled condensers - multiple structures and sizes for different capacities and footprints.
Materials and Manufacturing
Copper tubes use high-purity copper; aluminum fins receive hydrophilic coating; tube expansion ensures tight fin-tube contact. Nitrogen-shielded welding; every unit passes leak and pressure tests.
Quality Checkpoints
- Select heat exchange area by capacity, matching compressor heat rejection
- Choose air-cooled or water-cooled by environment (coastal/chemical areas need anti-corrosion fins)
- Choose structure by installation space
- Choose tube wall thickness and pressure rating by refrigerant pressure
Quality FAQ
- How to choose fin spacing? - Larger spacing in dusty environments.
- Air-cooled or water-cooled? - Water is more efficient but needs a water source; air is simpler to install.
- What to do with dirty fins? - Wash with fin cleaner at low pressure.
- How to protect against corrosion? - Hydrophilic coating plus plating; stainless steel for corrosive environments.
For 37 years Kilterra has focused on one thing: build refrigeration components right, deliver them on time. Heat Exchanger / Condenser supports OEM/ODM customization - factory visits, sample testing and volume partnerships are welcome.
