The accumulator is installed at the compressor suction to prevent liquid refrigerant slugging; the receiver at the condenser outlet stabilizes refrigerant supply. Kilterra 40XX/44XX heat-exchange accumulators integrate internal heat exchange with liquid separation - separation plus suction/liquid heat exchange in one unit for significantly better system efficiency.

- Size volume by compressor displacement and system capacity (heat pumps need larger volume)

Product Advantages
Shells are brazed from copper or steel tube; internal baffle and oil return structure are flow-optimized. Heat-exchange series use inner/outer tube construction with ample heat exchange area. Every unit passes pressure, leak and flow tests.
